This is getting crazy. We’ve no sponsors, pay for tiny ads that maybe reach a few dozen people, and we focus mainly on the work. But our friends and supporters have been spreading the word and we’re continuing to attract new people to the podcast. Thank you!
We’re still launching our new story, “Colick” on March 7. This one’s going to be fun, devoid of squirrels, but with plenty of decision points.
And we’ve made a new design for our TeePublic store based on first story, “Squirrels.”
All of your decisions led down this path. The final chapter of our first story arc. John’s decided to shut the door on Mr. O… but what if he doesn’t want to stay out? This is the climax, with many of its details coming from the audience’s decisions. We hope you enjoy it. Finally, our next story begins on March 7. Brand new characters, brand new paths to take.
In the end, you decided to show Mr. O the door, though no small amount of you wanted him to “have a little fun with it.” Your sadistic tendency has been noted. We’re looking forward to posting the new episode for you on Feb 21.
This has been a really big ride, and it’s been so fun to tweak and edit scripts based on your decisions. After our first ever tie, we had a special run-off to find out whether John would follow instructions and stick with the group during the blackout, or head off in search of Mr. O. The debate online was fierce, but in the end John’s anger won out.

When we started this podcast idea, 2018 was very new. The cold February winds seeped through J’s windows as I registered the domain name and prepared to write our first story. And then life got in the way, as it always does. J moved North, we began to live together, and adjust to an entirely new dynamic. And in the quiet moments of that year, this domain, and its secret paths grew slowly, and began to invade my dreams. When they’d had enough of the subconscious, the world righted itself long enough for us to take all of the ideas, words, and talent and unleash “Squirrels” onto you.
And you seem to like it.
We started a new TeePublic store with designs started by the show, and people are buying them. We witnessed our first internet debate that leapt from Facebook Wall to Facebook Wall as the voting for Episode 4 was drawing to a close. That, coupled by the sincere word-of-mouth recommendations of several people made this podcast reach ears 367 times and counting. It’s been going for less than a month.
We’re going to be hard at work on Episode 4, which will be released on Thursday. In the mean time, spread the word and get us more wanderers for the Path.
